Afghan Journalists in Exile Network<\/span>

The Afghan Journalists in Exile Network (AJEN) is a France-based association established in 2023 to support Afghan journalists affected by censorship, persecution, unemployment, and displacement following the Taliban\u2019s return to power.<\/p>\n

AJEN connects journalists inside Afghanistan and in exile, providing a platform for independent reporting while advocating for press freedom, human rights, and freedom of expression. The network supports journalists through professional training, advocacy, emergency and legal assistance, collaborative journalism, and international partnerships.<\/p>\n

AJEN\u2019s mission is to ensure that Afghan journalists can remain connected, protected, and empowered to continue telling Afghanistan\u2019s stories\u2014wherever they are.<\/p>\n
